Hello, I'm Val (she/her). I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC); Aerialist & Expressive Arts Therapist; Bodyworker & Biodynamic Craniosacral Practitioner.

My therapeutic intention is to provide a safe and grounded container for deep listening, somatic unwinding and playful exploration. I trust the process, the intelligence of our somatic bodies, and power of the creative arts to heal and transform our lives.
I live and work on the beautiful and magical Cortes Island, BC. Home of the Klahoose, Tla'amin, and Homalco First Nations.
I work with clients online and in-person.
Imagine if your counselling session was an embodied and creative experience - a safe place to move and be supported through the hard parts of life. Aerial Arts Therapy is an integration of aerial yoga, expressive arts therapy and somatic therapy. It is a playful approach to clinical counselling.

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BCACC. Sessions are covered under RCC extended benefit plans.
I offer over 15 years of therapeutic bodywork experience. I have worked with many different people, conditions, and states of health.
I hold a 2,200 hour massage therapy diploma from the Canadian College of Massage. I specialize in ayurvedic bodywork and biodynamic craniosacral therapy.
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) is a light-touch, non-manipulative, osteopathic modality that aligns with your systems inherent treatment plan.
BCST helps your body find its own pathway towards healing. BCST is a beautiful therapy for nervous system regulation, fascial unwinding and trauma recovery.
I offer 120 min Ceremonial Ayurvedic Hot Stone Massages. This full body treatment is based on ayurveda, a 5,000 year old system of health that is designed to clear and cleanse stagnant energy and restore vitality back to your system.
Expressive Arts Therapy invites the power of your imagination into consciousness awareness in a gentle, creative and supportive container.
